Attention all parents, if you want to find a place where your kids can run and run and run some more, Botanic Gardens is the most ideal place to bring them to. Look at how vast the place is for them to explore. Also it’s not so crowded on a weekday afternoon. Perfect for taking photos.

Jayne ran so much that for once without us shouting for her to stop, she volunteered to take a rest and have a drink.

One of our parenting philosophy is to bring the girls outdoor as much as possible, to expose them to more of the nature and at the same time, to encourage them to be more curious of the things around them. I for one doesn’t like my kids to grow up as a bookworm. Though Joey does look like one with her specs now =p

Not sure if the schools still have ‘science club’ where we used to go out and collect flowers and leaves samples. Little Botanic badge.

Green background makes a very good photo.

This branch has to be the most photographed place in the entire garden. The girls are still too young to climb higher, but maybe a few years later, I’m sure I will screaming at them to get down instead of trying to get them up.

A refreshing walk minus the sweat and sun. Looking forward to our next visit, maybe with some friends and kids, and a big picnic basket.
