Father’s Day Dinner @ Oscar’s

Media Invite
I am going to give it to you first, the verdict: one of the best Buffet Dinner ever!

One thing I like about this place is the arrangement of the buffet lines. It is centralized in a circle and within one round, I know what is offered and the dishes are all grouped nicely. No hassle of walking here and there to look for food. I think buffet should be like that, no hassle, just food.

For starters, dip into the various bakery choices like bread or pizzas.

Or simple dishes like this prawn, nicely presented in a wine glass.

Salad is a decorated affair, with option to add your own Parma Ham. So lavish!

Next up is the Sushi portion, where I went for the most round, mainly for the fresh salmon sashimi.

Just beside it, the range of Seafood you can expect to have.

And for the Oyster lovers, this will be your favorite! Choose from New Zealand, France, USA, Ireland, etc. Seriously, I didn’t know there are so many types of Oysters! Yummy!

A whole array of local delights. Take my advice, don’t ignore this part, I know the Seafood, Oysters and Sushi bar will be the popular choice, but you will missed out on the best if you ignore the local food.

Beef Balls deep fried to the liking of many kids.

For the meat lovers, you won’t miss this! Pork Knuckles & Roasted Rib Eye. Remember to take the sauce provided by the side too.

Pardon the quality of the photo, but this fish is also a winner. Baked Butter Fish.

One of the few surprises of the evening was this part where the restaurant serves Indian food. I thought it was a weird choice given the spices and unique taste of the food, but I was so wrong. The Indian food were excellent! Totally loved the different spices used in the dishes and not too strong for a Chinese.

Five types of lentil cooked in Indian Spices. This goes well with the crackers.

All meals will be incomplete without desserts like cakes, chocolate fondue, etc.

For drinks, try out the restaurant’s special cocktail. Sure to enhance the entire dining experience.

And since this is a Father’s Day special meal, all Fathers will be treated to a special glass of Prosecco.

On top of that, Conrad top up the menu with a sumptuous Crab Buffet! My favorite Chilli Crab!!!
